Congressman Hamadeh Votes for the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act to Protect U.S. Elections
WASHINGTON, D.C. – As part of his commitment to increase faith in our elections, Congressman Abraham J. Hamadeh (AZ-08) proudly joined his fellow Republicans in the successful passage of the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act to protect U.S. elections and urges his colleagues to pass his Voting Only Through English Act.
In March, Congressman Hamadeh introduced the Voting Only Through English Act (VOTE ACT), mandating that States use only English ballots to qualify for federal election funds.
Congressman Hamadeh’s bill aligns with President Trump’s recent Executive Order declaring English our official language, reinforcing American values and rejecting the erosion of our national identity.
"The vote on the SAVE Act was a HUGE win for election integrity! I was a strong "yes" vote because with the passage of this bill, the Republican-led House has taken the first of many necessary steps to ensure that U.S. citizens are the only voters deciding the fate of this great nation through the democratic process,” stated Congressman Hamadeh. “My VOTE Act is the critical next step to protect the integrity and unity of our federal elections. By mandating English-only ballots, we ensure a common language that binds our nation together, safeguarding our constitutional republic from the divisiveness of multilingual ballots.”
