The Congressional District 8 Fitness Challenge is a district-wide recognition program designed to promote physical fitness, discipline, and healthy lifestyles.
The program is aligned with the reestablished Presidential Physical Fitness Test and recognizes participants who successfully meet the official fitness benchmarks established for core strength, cardiorespiratory fitness, and upper body strength.
Participants who meet the qualification standards will receive an official Certificate of Recognition from the Office of Congressman Abraham Hamadeh.

How to Participate
Participants may complete the fitness challenge independently at school, at home, or in another supervised setting.
To participate:
• Review the official fitness standards
• Complete the required fitness benchmarks
• Submit results through the participation form
• Provide basic identifying information for certificate processing
Participants must meet the required benchmark standards in all three fitness categories to qualify for recognition.
Official Fitness Standards
The Congressional District 8 Fitness Challenge uses the official Presidential Physical Fitness standards reestablished through the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition.
Participants must meet the required benchmark standards in all three categories:
• Core & Abdominal Strength
• Cardiorespiratory Fitness
• Upper Body Strength
Participants may choose from the approved testing options listed within each category. Standards vary by age and sex and are based on nationally recognized Presidential Fitness benchmarks.

Participant Recognition
Participants who successfully complete the challenge will receive a signed Certificate of Recognition acknowledging their achievement in physical fitness and personal excellence.
Certificates are reviewed, processed, and mailed directly from the congressional office.
