Health

Congressman Hamadeh believes that we must improve healthcare access and affordability - the Affordable Care Act failed to do that and has only complicated an already opaque, unwieldy health care system. That means putting the patient FIRST, and centering care around what’s best for the patient—not large medical conglomerates or socialized medicine. To that end, Congressman Hamadeh strongly supports policies that put the patient in the drivers’ seat of their own care and supports President Trump’s free market initiatives like price transparency, and taking on the big Pharmacy Benefits Managers (PBMs). Policies such as expanding eligibility for Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) to all Americans is the solution—not more centralized government control.

Additionally, Congressman Hamadeh shares the goals embodied in the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) agenda. This includes understanding and drastically lowering chronic disease rates and ending childhood chronic disease. An ounce of prevention in a healthy individual is worth a pound of treatment for somebody who is sick. We need fresh thinking on nutrition, physical activity, healthy lifestyles, over-reliance on medication and treatments, and restore the integrity of the scientific process by shielding our research institutions like the National Institute of Health (NIH) from woke DEI influence.

Congressman Hamadeh will fight against socialized medicine, and support policies that give Americans full control of their health care without red tape. As a result, Congressman Hamadeh joins his House Republican colleagues and the American people in advancing the Make America Health Again agenda.
