National Defense & Foreign Policy
As a former U.S. Army Reserve intelligence officer who deployed to Saudi Arabia, Congressman Hamadeh understands the sacrifices the men and women of our Armed Forces and their families make. As a Member on the House Armed Services Committee, he knows that a strong America is a respected America—as such, he is a strong supporter of President Trump's Peace Through Strength and Maximum Pressure policies.
While America First means ending endless wars and prioritizing U.S. interests, it also recognizes that America's NATO allies must share the financial burden of protecting our shared values. To that end, Congressman Hamadeh is committed to strengthening alliances, supporting the Iranian people's quest for freedom from the mullahs, supporting a robust U.S.-Israel relationship, and bringing American captives home. America does not leave its people — or its friends — behind.
America's security begins with securing Arizona's borders. For years under the Biden Administration, dangerous terrorists, including the cartels, exploited Arizona's 370-mile border with Mexico. To sustain America's decisive leadership as the world's superpower, Congressman Hamadeh believes that our Department of Defense must maximize efficiency, by finally passing an audit, streamline the acquisition process, and install a Special Inspector General for Ukraine Aid, like what was implemented for Afghanistan.
Arizona plays an increasingly pivotal role in America's defense future. While our state hosts critical installations like Luke Air Force Base and Fort Huachuca—where Rep. Hamadeh proudly served—Arizona's 8th District specifically contributes to national security through its defense manufacturing sector, producing vital components and semiconductors for America's military. With bold leadership and an America First vision, Arizona's 8th District is leading the way in securing our nation's future.
