Congressman Hamadeh Urges Department of Justice to End Political Weaponization Against Phoenix Police Department
Washington, DC,
March 19, 2025
Congressman Abraham J. Hamadeh has sent a letter to Federal Bureau of Investigation Director Kash Patel advocating for the men and women of the Phoenix Police Department who have been the victims of the Biden Administration's weaponization of the Department of Justice. In his letter, Congressman Hamadeh urged Director Patel to rescind the DOJ’s report on the Phoenix Police Department. Just this week, Congressman Hamadeh joined members of the Phoenix PD in a regularly scheduled Air Support Mission in which he was able to see first-hand officers in action. The officers’ commitment to excellence and selfless dedication goes above and beyond the call of duty, exemplifying the highest standards of integrity, compassion, and leadership. Congressman Hamadeh’s letter reads in part:
Congressman Hamadeh believes that by rescinding the DOJ’s report on the Phoenix Police Department, the Trump administration will send a powerful message that political interference has no place in law enforcement, and that America First principles now govern the day. |
